P1000037

A County with very diverse scenery and hidden gems from the Mendips, Cheddar Gorge and its caves, the Levels with opportunities to bird watch at the RSPB reserve, famous Glastonbury Tor, Weston Super Mare with its magnificent Pier, historical Watchet and the stunning Quantocks and for those shopaholics we even have Clarks Village at Street.  So many take the M5 straight through the county on their way to and from Devon and Cornwall without giving Somerset a second glance. What a missed opportunity, take time out and visit the county, get off the beaten track and see what the county has to offer.

The County is also very fortunate to have Lions Clubs serving the whole of the County, all very different in their own right with what they support each year and the activities they put on. Clubs larger are able to organise Real Ale Festivals, run their own Minibus, take a major part in the Carnival Season, run a Bowls competition for visually impaired and even a Wild West Weekend . Look at the Clubs of Somerset, see how busy they are each year. Listed below are the Somerset Clubs, visit their websites.
